The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is looking for Front Desk Agents (Overnight) to join the team on a Part-Time basis.

What we are looking for

  • Independent, creative problem solvers with minimum supervision.
  • Availability to work on rotating shifts including weekends.
  • A passion for the industry, a want to be the best in service.
  • A team player & has eyes for details.
  • Knowledge in Opera preferred.

What you will do

  • Process all late arrivals or early departures, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests. Secure payment; activate/reissue room keys. Verify/adjust billing for guests.
  • Ensure efficient, friendly, and professional service is provided to all guests.
  • Be an expert on the hotel, know it inside and out to ensure our guests receive a dynamic service experience.
  • Completing Night Audit checklist.
  • Balancing of daily postings and revenue. Prepares back-up files and closes out shift and day on reservation system, including preparing system for next day of business.
  • Ensure adequate communication the following morning to all necessary departments by communicating through "Wrap-Up" emails.
  • Understanding of all front office standards and assist in solving deficiencies.
